Past Trips

Bolivia

In Cochabamba we partnered with missionaries who have started a church and we hosted a women’s retreat for them.  We also partnered with a ministry to lead Bible stories, crafts, and games for kids whose moms work in the Red Light District.  We invited those moms to a gathering to share our testimonies, hear their struggles, and pray for them.

Cambodia

Ministering primarily in the slums of Cambodia, our teams washed feet & distributed shoes, led outreaches for kids, ministered to women currently caught in sex slavery, and encouraged women who have been rescued from it.  We evangelized in the slum where a new church was planted and prayer walked the area while inviting residents to “come and see” Jesus about whom they’ve never heard.

China

In various places around the country, teams have encouraged believers in house churches, led a children’s Bible school, taught English classes, and ministered to children living in foster homes.  We’ve also led encouragement conferences for missionaries serving in China.

Costa Rica

Some teams have ministered among, and learned from, the Maleku indigenous people of Costa Rica. In all the various communities we have served, we have led church services, kids’ outreaches, and soccer outreaches, helped with construction projects, and taught English classes.

Cuba

Teams to Cuba have spoken at a pastor’s conference, prayed over pastors, and preached in churches.  Other teams have served as keynote speakers for an annual women’s event for over 300 people speaking on topics that would challenge, encourage, and nurture the specific needs of women in Cuba.

Dominican Republic

Teams made up of people of all ages have led children’s Bible school in multiple churches, prayer-walked and evangelized in communities with new church plants, made home visits, preached in churches, helped to repaint a church, and led a leadership conference for youth and young adults.

Ethiopia

We brought two pastors to Ethiopia with the primary goal to help them rekindle a friendship with another Ethiopian pastor’s family.  We also visited the seminary students with whom they have a relationship, and met with several pastors to encourage them and pray over them.  As child sponsors, we also visited with children and staff in several Compassion International centers.

Guatemala

There’s lots of the love of Jesus to be shared with children in Guatemala!  Going into schools or children’s homes, teams have shared Bible stories with kids through puppet shows, skits, crafts, and games.  We’ve also distributed school supplies and lunches in village schools.

Honduras

Serving in multiple places in Honduras, teams have ministered in a girl’s home, conducted children’s outreaches in villages and schools, distributed school supplies, done construction projects, made home visits, preached in churches, evangelized in villages, and led Bible studies in a café ministry.

Kenya

Partnering with a missionary pastor’s family, our team led children’s Bible school for the village children, participated in a discipleship home group, helped tear off and replace the church’s dilapidated roof, and encouraged, evangelized, and ministered to kids at a juvenile center.

Liberia

With a small team, we partnered with other missionaries to share the gospel with a “least reached” people group known as the Mano tribe.  We evangelized in unreached villages using pictures with stories and distributed solar-powered audio Bibles in their languages.  We also led children’s activities and held medical and eye clinics.

Peru

Our team told Bible stories through skits, led games and crafts for kids in an after-school program and in a children’s home.  We helped the ministry with some construction. We prayer walked to a high point to pray over the city, and led a church service.

Rwanda

Working with different missionaries, teams have participated in community development projects.  We helped to build a medical clinic, participated in church services, and ministered to children in schools and to widows in a bakery.  The teams also got to learn about Rwanda’s post-genocide history and experience what it’s like to be Rwandan.

South Africa

With a team of adults and young adults, we ministered to children in high-risk communities, counseled and taught parents of these kids, ministered to students in schools located in gang territories, and led soccer outreaches for children of migrant farmers.  The team also led worship and a fellowship night for youth in Cape Town, and spoke at a Missions conference for a network of churches.
